Production Shift Supervisor - Hot End

Job Description

The Production Shift Supervisor - Hot End will:

• Ensures quality and productivity by monitoring and performing mechanical, visual, and informational system checks.
• Reviews shift operation and make recommendations regarding how plant operations can further improve to meet service, quality, safety and productivity goals.
• Ensures that all people in work group are adequately trained and are knowledgeable of department procedures.
• Makes sure control charts are monitored and reviewed with key personnel during process shifts.

Qualifications

• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SCHEDULE
• A High School Degree or equivalent (minimum)
• A College education in related major preferred
• Experience supervising/leading people and processes in a Manufacturing environment
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Previous experience working in a Union environment highly preferred
• Glass manufacturing experience required
