Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Scheduler in our Jeffersonville facility! Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Responsibilities Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.Plans and schedules workflow for press and operation Confers with production and order entry staff to determine status of orders.Works closely with Sales/Client Care to meet customer delivery requirements.Expedites orders as agreed meet unforeseen conditions.Assesses schedule performance and advises the team on status and preventive/corrective actions required.Prepares reports as needed. Your Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday - Friday You Must Have Ability to work with mathematical concepts.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to work with multiple systems and create tools via excel or accessAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsResponsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedulesMay coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering Requirements Within This Position Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer Two years related prepress, scheduling or print industry experience (Digital production preferred)Experience with front end order control and digital file processing applicationsGood verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with all levels of management, sales and production staff About Taylor Corporation One of the largest print and communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provides a diverse set of products, services and technologies that address the toughest business challenges.
