Production Scheduler
Position Summary
The Master Planner II identifies and prioritizes production requirements to coordinate the flow of materials and parts to meet production schedules. This role establishes, maintains, and tracks weekly and monthly production schedule. Provide daily production records. Provide weekly and monthly production and inventory reports. These duties are performed with minimal supervision and considerable latitude. This role requires in-person work 5 days/week in St Louis, MO. This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or H1B Transfer.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute daily and weekly production schedules aligned with sales demand and operational objectives
- Own and adjust production schedules to maintain production targets and respond to changing conditions
- Determine optimal sequencing of production runs across manufacturing and packaging lines
- Translate weekly production plans into optimized, executable schedules
- Maintain and monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Minimize excess inventory while preventing shortages and supporting cash flow objectives
- Investigate and resolve material shortages and inventory imbalances
- Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and system-based)
- Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and supervisors to address material, labor, or equipment constraints
- Adjust schedules to resolve bottlenecks caused by downtime, shortages, or disruptions
- Expedite materials and parts from vendors as needed
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as liaison between Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing
- Communicate production status, risks, and delivery updates to stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within production and planning processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related
- 1-2 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 10 years of business experience of which 5 of those years are in manufacturing and supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with production computer systems and processes

Pay Range
Pay range for this opportunity is $68,637.50 - $88,825.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
