Pay

Pay range: $60,000 – $72,500 annually.

Schedule

1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We’re looking for a Production Scheduler who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, and knows how to keep production moving. In this role, you’ll be the connection between customer commitments and shop floor execution. From balancing production capacity to navigating shifting priorities, you’ll help ensure the right resources are in place to deliver quality products on time.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage production schedules that balance customer needs with shop capacity
• Anticipate bottlenecks and adjust schedules before challenges become delays
• Partner with manufacturing teams to coordinate production priorities and resources
• Monitor material availability, vendor requirements, and outside processing
• Maintain accurate production information within ERP/MRP systems
• Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Keep teams informed when schedules, priorities, or delivery timelines change

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards
• Previous production scheduling or similar experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and production constraints
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read manufacturing prints and technical drawings
• Confidence communicating across departments and adapting to changing priorities
• Experience in high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing is highly valuable

Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.
