Production Sanitation Utility College Student - Kiel

Sargento Production Sanitation Utility role based in Kiel, WI. Previous Sargento Production experience required. Currently enrolled in college, university, or technical college.

About the role

Responsible for ensuring the production line has all necessary component materials and equipment to accomplish orders in a timely manner. The position requires knowledge of scanning procedures, identifying materials, equipment requirements, equipment operation, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products.
• Read and understand production orders to verify information is correct.
• Communicate effectively and accurately.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
• Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary.
• Perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock-out tag-out procedures as required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a cold, loud environment with machinery and robotics.
• May be exposed to wet, humid, or damp conditions during sanitation work.

Schedule

16 - 24 hours per week, 2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm on Tuesday and Thursday, with every other Saturday as needed.
