Production Sanitation Associate

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Understand and practice the 7-Steps of sanitation when cleaning and sanitizing different types of machinery, support equipment, and conveyors.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and specific work areas.
• Adhere to all Food, Sanitation and Safety policies.
• Handle produce according to SQF standards.
• Maintain facility cleanliness by picking up trash/debris and improving sanitation.
• Report unsafe/unfixable issues to supervisor immediately.
• Enforce and comply with all safety rules.
• Comply with all applicable company policies and laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One-year on-the-job production sanitation experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision and have strong attention to details.
• Certification in material handling equipment or the ability to obtain certification.
