Roles and Responsibilities

  • Processes Orders to Principals and Suppliers
  • Creates and places purchase orders and follows up to ensure receipt and accurate processing of purchase orders and maintenance of supplier information.
  • Proactively Manages Orders
  • Solves issues with suppliers, expedites acknowledgment and shipment dates to ensure on-time delivery and maintains weekly updates from suppliers.
  • Maintains Inventory Services
  • Maintains stock levels on stocked inventory and performs inventory activities related to shop order production including issue escalation and resolution.
  • Provides Shop Order Processing
  • Manages dates and on-time product for shop orders, prepares shop order paperwork for assemblers on a timely basis, and maintains the schedule of shop order work.
  • Liaison with Other Departments
  • Maintains shop order schedule and liaises with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
  • Prepare Analysis Reporting
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports on data on purchasing and product quality data, understands and reports on trends to effect improvement as well as root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Understand and Actively Participate in Quality Management System
  • Adopts the company's quality policy and participates in quality management system activities such as Corrective and Preventive Action Requests, Quality Circles/Teams, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and Develop Professional and Technical Competence
  • Maintains work instructions and group procedures, writes, updates, trains on a regular basis, and attends education workshops and classes.
  • Inform Appropriate NCI Personnel of Market Conditions
  • Reports customer and competitor activities within the territory to appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to Overall Team Effort
  • Participates in the pursuit and accomplishment of Company and Departmental Goals as part of the Company's Annual Strategic Business Plan and achieves related results.
  • Participate in the Company's Safety and Health Program
  • Understands and follows the established policies and procedures of the Safety and Health Manual, notifies supervisors/managers of any observed workplace safety and health compliance issues, and implements recommendations to improve the Company's Safety and Health Program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service-related experience
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers and carriers
  • Experience using Salesforce or Oracle preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and move between activities that require immediate response
  • Ability to be self-directed and contribute to a high performing work team while being team and goal oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with functional stakeholders
  • Motivated and positive team player
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced, demanding, ever-changing environment
  • Well-developed conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills while deploying sound judgment

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay for this position will be between $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
