Production Print Sales Support Associate
About the role
The Production Print Sales Support Associate is responsible for providing sales assistance and support to develop production sales within dealer accounts to meet or exceed sales objectives. This role involves working with and supporting the Production Print Sales and Technical Teams, Customer Engagement Center Specialists, Product Management, Dealers, and Dealer Customers. Key responsibilities include demoing hardware and software solutions, driving professional services, and assisting with sales of Konica Minolta print production and industrial hardware and software.
The role supports the team of PPS’s and PPTC’s in handling all technical aspects associated with Production and Industrial Printing sales, including product configurations, troubleshooting, coordinating dealer and end-user training, and other client-facing activities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and eventually lead dealer channel demos.
- Responsible for prompt and accurate reproduction and fulfillment of all print sample requests for dealer channel customers.
- Support dealer and customer training and troubleshoot customer issues both remotely and in person.
- Receive, log, deliver, and track all activity for reporting purposes.
- Record, research, document, and track customer inquiries and fulfillment of requests.
- Engage in heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling, follow-up, and tight collaboration with the management team.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales objectives.
- Seek, establish, and maintain client relationships while providing the highest standard of customer service.
Requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A "can do" / positive attitude ("glass half empty" applicants need not apply).
- Willingness to travel (estimated 10-20%).
- Capable of multitasking within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Familiarity with Production and Industrial Print (a plus).
- Familiarity with Preflight / PitStop; proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with Graphics and Adobe products; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Advanced time management and planning skills.
- Attend training classes to remain current with the most recent technology.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods in support of travel or customer meetings/presentations/events.
- Occasional travel (estimated 10-20%) with sales representatives, events, etc.
