Production Prep Operator

About the role

The Kooks production team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled operator to join our fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Making measurements, marking, and trimming parts according to work instructions and fixtures
• Operating and managing various machinery and heavy equipment
• Cutting tubing using bandsaws
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans
• Maintaining all safety standards
• Safeguarding the cleanliness, safety, organization, and maintenance of the work area
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience with measuring, cutting, and forming tubing or a similar role
• Experience with PROTO-1 machinery (deburring), expansion and reduction machinery, SOCO facing machine, and drill press is a plus
• May require lifting, pulling, and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds
• Frequent bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, and reaching overhead
• Standing for extended periods of time, up to 9 hours per day
• Ability to work independently under general supervision; reports to supervisor
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications
