About the role
The Kooks production team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled operator to join our fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
- Making measurements, marking, and trimming parts according to work instructions and fixtures
- Operating and managing various machinery and heavy equipment
- Cutting tubing using bandsaws
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing plans
- Maintaining all safety standards
- Safeguarding the cleanliness, safety, organization, and maintenance of the work area
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience with measuring, cutting, and forming tubing or a similar role
- Experience with PROTO-1 machinery (deburring), expansion and reduction machinery, SOCO facing machine, and drill press is a plus
- May require lifting, pulling, and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds
- Frequent bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, and reaching overhead
- Standing for extended periods of time, up to 9 hours per day
- Ability to work independently under general supervision; reports to supervisor
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience with measuring, cutting, and forming tubing or a similar role
- Measuring and marking skills
- Operational proficiency with various machinery and equipment
- Quality assurance focus
