Production Plant Manager

The Production Plant Manager is a mission-critical role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. This role oversees all processing staff, including schedules, training, policy updates, and product information. The Plant Manager manages all departments of our processing operations, ensuring tasks necessary for extraction and production of various formulated products are performed efficiently while maintaining quality control measures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing and managing all processing employees to perform tasks necessary to process and prepare products for market.
- Ensure production by creating, reviewing, and adhering to the production schedule; studying and clarifying specifications; calculating processing requirements.
- Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Assure that the production schedule and manpower requirements are properly met and monitored.
- Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the laboratory, and document production by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Monitor and guide the extraction, batching, lab, processing, and maintenance departments.
- Develop effective relationships with all departments throughout the company.
- Proactively pursue professional growth opportunities.

Requirements
- Proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes.
- Proficiency with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories, as well as recordkeeping procedures.
- Thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to operations.
- Effective time-management practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Deep understanding of mechanics and functions to maintain climate control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage through change and challenge the status quo.
- Strong consultative and partnership skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and email proficiency.
Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA, and WV).
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of five feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, or pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection).
- Must be able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft. or more in day and night/dark conditions.
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors (moderate noise).
Schedule
- 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
