Production Planning Manager
Job Description
The Production Planning Manager is responsible for leading and managing the daily/weekly/monthly work streams throughout the operation. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, inbound, outbound, and returns processing. Responsible for the integration and coordination of production plans with leadership throughout the fulfillment center to ensure goals, objectives, and KPI targets are met throughout the business. This includes identifying issues, root causing problems, and resolving issues throughout the operational flow. Interacts with the customer on a regular basis to review the sites operational performance, capacity restraint/solutions, and manage the throughput across all work streams of the business. Assists in facilitating and implementing continuous improvement projects throughout the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years logistics industry experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
- 1-3 years of customer service or fulfillment center planning
Qualifications
- Skills of thinking outside the box and working across multiple teams, functions, etc.
- Experience in identifying issues and root causing problems
- Experience delivering to the customer on-time and on-budget
