Production Planner

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Work closely with plant personnel (cell leader, team leaders, sales, etc.) to schedule customer orders and respond to customer inquiries.
• Work with production management to identify and resolve potential impediments to schedules and contribute to determining solutions for out of flow parts, working with engineers, the customer, and production to resolve issues.
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with customers including delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
• Maintain current inventory counts for each of the different steps in the process, utilizing both Oracle as well as physical inventory processes.
• Be the point of contact for customer visits regarding physical inventory counts and WIP reconciliation.
• Be responsible for data integrity on digital representation of customer part inventory and customer order status.

What Makes You Great

• A High School Diploma or GED and 7-years of experience including 2 – 4 years in customer service and 5 or more in operations, specifically with coatings processes preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with many business functions and a dynamic team.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills, including MS Word (Basic), MS PowerPoint (Basic), and MS Excel (Intermediate / Advanced).
• Enterprise Resource Planning skills, such as Oracle (intermediate preferred).
• Self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with firm deadlines.
