Production Planner

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily, weekly and yearly production schedules to support customer demand
• Understand the manufacturing process on assigned production lines to ensure schedule efficiency
• Create and review capacity analysis to identify constraints or opportunities to better optimize planning
• Show knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to apply these tools for planning purposes
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting service excellence to our customers
• Exhibit strong ability to interpret data to support decision-making
• Work through routine and non-routine situations in a fast-paced work environment
• Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be a self-starter and resourceful individual
• Display ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams; be a team player
• Show excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication to senior level management
• Deal with ambiguity and make decisions on a limited set of data
• Make executive decisions to protect business needs/strategies
• Multi-task and prioritize accordingly based off business or management needs

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree Required: Supply Chain Management or equivalent; preferred
• APICS certification a plus
• 2-5 years of experience in production planning and/or supply chain or equivalent; project leadership preferred
• Operations experience preferred
• Ability to develop and recommend process, system improvements
• Experience with advanced planning systems
• Experience and functionality within Excel
