Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily, weekly and yearly production schedules to support customer demand
- Understand the manufacturing process on assigned production lines to ensure schedule efficiency
- Create and review capacity analysis to identify constraints or opportunities to better optimize planning
- Show knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to apply these tools for planning purposes
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while supporting service excellence to our customers
- Exhibit strong ability to interpret data to support decision-making
- Work through routine and non-routine situations in a fast-paced work environment
- Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be a self-starter and resourceful individual
- Display ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams; be a team player
- Show excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication to senior level management
- Deal with ambiguity and make decisions on a limited set of data
- Make executive decisions to protect business needs/strategies
- Multi-task and prioritize accordingly based off business or management needs
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree Required: Supply Chain Management or equivalent; preferred
- APICS certification a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in production planning and/or supply chain or equivalent; project leadership preferred
- Operations experience preferred
- Ability to develop and recommend process, system improvements
- Experience with advanced planning systems
- Experience and functionality within Excel
