Production Planner

About the role

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring that all materials and resources are available on time, and managing inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and company goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues and meet deadlines.
• Prepare reports and provide updates on production status to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for scheduling and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
