Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinating workflow on the shop floor for multiple products.
  • Monitor and report on current production times, proactively make adjustments and needed.
  • Recommend staffing adjustments as needed.
  • Assessing overall needs for equipment and raw material, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring sufficient stock of raw materials to meet production demands.
  • Working with the sales team to determine reasonable lead times for our customers.
  • Monitor capacity planning tools to ensure the optimal level of production capability is available to meet the forecast demand.
  • Cooking coordination the production, packaging, and shipping of multiple products at a time between the warehouse, inventory, logistics, planning, and production teams.
  • Reporting on the production status and other issues to upper management.
  • Maintaining the schedule for production and outside services.
  • Mitigating delays by adjusting workflows when necessary.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of manufacturing leadership or production planning experience (any combination of education and experience).
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles of manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
  • APICS/ASCM certification is preferred.
  • Experience with production forecasting, inventory/ material management, and anticipating production needs.
  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning tools and the Microsoft 365 suite of products with an emphasis on Excel (ability to create pivot tables and dashboards).

Qualifications

In an applicant we a seeking a person with at least 7 years of manufacturing leadership or production planning experience (any combination of education and experience).

We are looking for someone who is familiar with LEAN principles of manufacturing and has a strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices. APICS/ASCM certification is preferred. Experience with production forecasting, inventory/ material management, and anticipating production needs is also important. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning tools and the Microsoft 365 suite of products, particularly Excel (creating pivot tables and dashboards), is beneficial.

About the Role

All America Threaded Products is a leading manufacturer of threaded products including threaded rod and U-Bolts. Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, this position will be responsible for managing and overseeing production schedules, coordinating with the procurement team to manage our supply of raw materials, and overseeing day-to-day shop floor production.

Pay

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.

Schedule

This position is intended to work Monday-Friday but occasional work on weekends may be required.
