Production Painter

About the role

The Production Painter position at Valmet in Shrewsbury, MA is responsible for painting products and components, including sandblasting and steam cleaning valves and components. Duties also include measuring and recording paint thickness, performing holiday and environmental tests, and adhering to applicable paint specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Manufacturing Orders and special procedures.
• Measure and record finished paint thickness per applicable specs.
• Perform holiday and environmental testing per applicable specs and procedures.
• Process valves and components per applicable PSE paint specifications and record results on test reports.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role as a Production Painter.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in using painting equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.
