Responsibilities
- Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
- Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
- Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
- Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
- Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
- Maintains inventory levels and restocks supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
- Ensures correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
- Moves finished goods to designated area.
- Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
- Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found.
- Maintains conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
- Picks up dropped bottles from production floor and places them into designated bins.
- Placed discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
- Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
- Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
- Operates packaging equipment.
- Loads, moves material, and operates packaging equipment.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Basic computer experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date is required.
Physical Demands
- Frequently stands, walks, uses hands to grasp, handle, or feel, reaches out, over and below with hands and arms.
- Occasionally climbs or balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawls.
- Frequently lifts, pushes, pulls, and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
- Loud noise level in the work environment.
- Fluctuating temperatures inside the plant according to seasonal changes.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
