About the role
This is an entry-level position responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, including loading, moving material, and operating packaging equipment. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to work schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Adhere to company General Manufacturing Policies.
- Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
- Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
- Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place into designated bins.
- Place discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
- Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
- Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
- Escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues immediately.
- Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
- Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
- Move finished goods to designated area.
- Set up and organize workstations efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and design.
- Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer experience.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.
Physical Demands

- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle, or feel, and reach out, over, and below with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Frequently required to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
- Loud noise levels in the work environment.
- Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
Pay
Targeted pay rate: $20.25 per hour.
