Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production
• Operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot equipment and report any issues
• Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize, and wrap products
• Enter data into computer system
• Operate a forklift
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and maintain Food Safety Standards
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Ensure the quality of finished product meets specifications and is safe for pets
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Related experience in Production is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work at both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs
• Ability to solve basic problems
• Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
