Production Operator (UH)-2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide range of machinery to fabricate, process, and assemble chain and related components, ensuring high levels of efficiency and quality per U.S. Tsubaki standards.
• Operate grinders, drilling machines, ballizers, semi-automatic equipment, power presses, packaging equipment, and other machinery for the fabrication, processing, or assembly of pins, bushings, rolls, side plates, attachments, and chain-related components.
• Measure quality parameters of assembled and unassembled chain components and determine corrective actions for processes as needed.
• Retrieve and replace components from parts storage or prior processes to ensure continuous equipment operation.
• Take ownership of work schedule and quality, supporting continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
• Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors across sections to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Make timely decisions to perform a variety of tasks under time constraints.
• Follow directions from group leaders or supervisors and work in any fabrication, processing, assembly, or warehouse section as needed.
• Handle heavy weights as required by the role.

Requirements

• Ability to learn to operate simple production equipment with minimal instruction.
• Basic numeric and writing skills.
• High level of dexterity and adaptability.
• Sufficient knowledge of production equipment (e.g., grinders, drilling machines, ballizers, automatic/semi-automatic equipment, power presses, greasing, packaging equipment, and tooling) to maintain close tolerances and work specifications.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept change to support a fast, flexible, and efficient operation.
• Team player capable of working with peers and supervisors across sections.
• Ability to follow directions and work in various sections (fabrication, processing, assembly, warehouse) as needed.
• Capable of handling heavy weights.
