Duties/Responsibilities
- Log in and out of production jobs as required for accurate data collection.
- Run production jobs to standard, achieving targeted parts per hour.
- Perform accurate and timely machine set-ups within less than 1 hour 45 minutes.
- Notify a team leader whenever two scrap parts are produced, to assist in getting the machine back to producing good parts.
- Filling out production related forms such as Operator log, production inspection reports, job traveler, and machine set-up sheets.
- Measure production parts every hour and document sizes every three hours.
- Understand and follow product specifications to produce a clean product free of dust or debris.
- Put away brooms and shovels when not in use.
- Keep assigned work area clean and organized.
- Always place first article trays with production tools when removing from production machine.
- Place the blue book in the team leader's office upon completion of the job.
- Fill out job traveler sheets to facilitate reconciliation of finished goods.
- Follow all ISO related processes for labeling and identification.
- Notify material handlers when materials need to be returned to inventory at the end of each production job.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Good listening skills.
- Able to understand and follow written communications.
- Ability to write legibly and convey information on the operator log.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, bend, twist, turn for long periods of time.
- Ability to grasp, hold, and maneuver hand power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay
$16.50 (Days); $17.50 (Nights)

- 12.5 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
