Production Operator II - MS- New Bern
About the Role
Material Stocker stores, issues, and moves a variety of materials and products, including frequent lifting of boxes (3-45 lbs.) off pallets (6 inches off floor to chest level) and/or VGVs. Maintains and verifies actual inventory and materials being handled. Supplies parts for production lines and transports material through the plant as needed.
- Operates a variety of material handling equipment to move material throughout the plant.
- May disassemble, sort, repair, and salvage a variety of products.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.
- Assists in training other associates.
- Flexes into the production line as needed.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory records and quality of work.
- Maintains a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
- May plan and organize the execution of daily line schedules, including leading the cell in the team leader’s absence.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in the work area.
Requirements
- Associates must not have been awarded a job through a posting in the previous six (6) months (exceptions may apply for shift changes, demotions, or business needs; associates seeking a higher labor grade may apply without waiting 6 months).
- No written disciplinary warnings within six (6) months of the posting date.
- Must have at least 17 UTO hours.
- Must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
- Must meet all minimum qualifications outlined on the job bid.
- Selected associates will receive necessary training, including processes and computer requirements.
- A 90-day probationary period applies to all job postings.

Temporary associates are eligible to participate in the job bidding procedure but cannot be selected until a decision is made not to select a Moen candidate. Material Stocker bids are not cell-specific; assignments are based on production requirements.
