About the role

The Production Operator I supports manufacturing operations by operating process equipment and performing production activities in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role contributes to safe and reliable operations through equipment monitoring, process adjustments, data collection, and adherence to operating instructions. The position supports product quality by monitoring process performance, obtaining required samples, and identifying equipment or process issues. Success in this role requires hands-on execution, attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and effective collaboration within production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain assigned production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Adjust operating conditions within approved limits to maintain production performance and product quality standards.
  • Collect and document processing data, follow batch-sheet instructions, and obtain required product samples in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify and report equipment, process, quality, and safety concerns while supporting evaluation of equipment or process changes.
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks, perform equipment cleaning and basic teardown activities, and participate in general production and team support activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow batch sheets, written procedures, and operating instructions.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to support equipment cleaning and teardown activities.
  • Ability to accurately collect and document production data and support required quality sampling.
  • Ability to follow established safety requirements and work effectively as part of a production team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating industrial or process manufacturing equipment.
  • Manufacturing or production environment experience.
  • Experience supporting equipment cleaning, basic teardown, or similar hands-on production activities.

Pay

$18.08 - $22.60 per hour. Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.
