About the Role
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment. This role involves preparing materials, operating production equipment, conducting quality checks, and packaging finished products according to established procedures. The position is critical to maintaining production targets while ensuring compliance with quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials and packaging materials according to production requirements.
- Transport materials to designated production areas and document process start/end times.
- Operate processing equipment in accordance with work instructions and procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain established production rates.
- Conduct initial product testing and release activities to verify compliance with specifications.
- Inspect labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to requirements.
- Package finished products in accordance with H.B. Fuller quality standards.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all quality, safety, operational, and EHS procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- No prior manufacturing or production experience required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
- Ability to work assigned shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Manufacturing, production, or workplace safety training or certifications.
- Familiarity with quality standards and EHS compliance requirements.
