Production Operator I (Fort Mill)

The Production Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient manufacture of products according to defined processes and quality standards. This role performs hands-on production tasks including batching, blending, filling, packaging, and equipment cleaning. The Production Operator ensures that daily production targets are met while maintaining a clean, compliant, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and mix raw materials according to batch sheets and production specificationsOperate machinery and equipment safely and effectively during the production processAccurately fill, label, and package finished goods in compliance with quality standardsConduct routine equipment cleaning and maintenance to ensure readiness and safetyMaintain production records, including quantities, batch numbers, and time logsReport any deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns to the Site Leader or QCFollow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures as requiredSupport inventory control through accurate material usage reporting and waste minimizationOther duties assigned by management Key Deliverables Consistent on-time completion of assigned batches with minimal rework or errorsCompliance with safety and PPE protocols at all timesAccurate reporting of material usage and production dataClean and organized work area maintained daily Reporting Structure Reports To: Production Supervisor Direct Reports: None Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED (required)Technical or vocational training in manufacturing (preferred) Required Experience 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environmentAbility to operate equipment and follow batch/formulation instructionsStrong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standardsPhysical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Working Conditions Manufacturing environment Effort/Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
