Position Overview
This position can be assigned to any of the three main production departments within the manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Stamp the parts for the metal burial caskets using different types of presses depending on the part that is needed.
- Weld and grind the stamped parts of the metal burial caskets.
- Install the finishing parts of the metal burial caskets, including but not limited to bed, mattress, fabric coverings, hardware, panels, etc.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
- Ability to handle, lift, and load caskets up to approximately 100 lbs.
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
Education and Experience
- No experience is necessary, but experience in the following areas, but not limited to, are preferred:
- Press Operator
- Welding/Grinding
- Sewing
- Hand Tools
