Production Operator I
About the role
We are looking for a Production Operator I to join our team in Brush Prairie, WA. This position supports the team with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring safety, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supports the team with loading and unloading cylinders from inbound and outbound vehicles.
- Aids in moving all cylinders as coordinated with the team.
- Reports any accidents or injuries promptly.
- Safely operates forklifts, hand-trucks, pallet-jacks, etc., to load/unload cylinders.
- Maintains designated areas for staging cylinders during production.
- Loads and unloads all assigned company vehicles daily.
- Transfers cylinders between ground storage and designated areas.
- Assists production personnel in removing full cylinders from the fill area.
- Downgrades pure product as needed to ensure complete order fulfillment.
- Reports all cylinder shortages to management.
- Inspects all cylinders for general condition and reports discrepancies.
- Maintains and operates equipment, reporting any defects to the supervisor.
- Cleans and maintains assigned areas.
- Attends and participates in safety meetings.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly plant appearance.
Requirements
- Ability to operate in a drug-free workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to operate forklift and maintain appropriate certifications.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Flexible to work flexible hours to meet customers' needs and management expectations.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
Qualifications

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position in Washington is $22.00. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only.
