Production Operator (day shift)

As a Production Operator in our advanced Holdrege manufacturing facility, you'll help build life-changing insulin delivery syringes that support and positively impact millions globally. The Holdrege manufacturing facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, producing 2.3 billion medical devices annually. Our team includes approximately 450 people across our operation on both day and night shifts. We are currently hiring for production operators for 12 hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Gown up with the required PPE (personal protective equipment) and safety shoes.
• Start your shift by checking in with your team and reviewing the day's goals.
• Depending on whether you work in Molding, Assembly, Packaging or Warehouse, set up and operate the relevant machines and equipment that mold, assemble and package our insulin syringes.
• Regularly throughout your shift, inspect the products and perform in-process checks to ensure products meet our high quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Complete inspection and quality documentation in a highly regulated medical devices facility.
• Move raw material supplies and finished products to the necessary locations in the facility.
• Continually monitor the equipment for output and issues and help problem-solve efficiently and quickly should something go wrong.
• Work as part of a highly engaged team to keep everything running smoothly and safely, with safety being your highest priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment
• Excellent attention to detail in reading and completing product quality checks and documentation
• Comfortable using computers and basic software like Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable, organized, and ready to learn
• An innate focus on safety, naturally integrating safety considerations into your daily work and decision making
