Production Operator (Collection, Packaging, Inspection) *ALL SHIFTS

Responsibilities

• Collect and package product in compliance with customer and quality specifications.
• Perform setup, changeover, and initial line clearance for assigned production line.
• Inspect product for defects and deviations using measuring devices.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain complete and accurate production records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, and talk or hear.
• Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic, flammable or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat; noise levels in the work environment.

Pay

$22 an hour*

Schedule

• 1st Shift Production Operator: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm plus overtime as needed.
• 2nd Shift Production Operator: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. plus overtime as needed.
• 3rd Shift Production Operator: Sunday – Thursday 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. plus overtime as needed.
