About the Role
We are seeking a Production Operator to work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring production processes meet GMP standards while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Responsibilities
- Read and complete batch cards to fulfill order demands, accurately recording information to GMP standards.
- Set up and operate batch controllers, production lines, tanks, and packaging equipment.
- Operate mechanical equipment and printers, monitoring operations to ensure quality and conformity.
- Fill liquid batches, weigh materials, and record data on batch cards.
- Package and label finished goods, verifying labels for accuracy (item numbers, lot numbers, etc.).
- Record and maintain production data, including meter readings, quantities, and material types.
- Assist in QA/QC checks (torque, labels, containers, packaging) as directed by leads and supervisors.
- Adjust equipment to maintain product quality control under supervision.
- Clean equipment and maintain a clean workspace, following gowning and sanitation procedures.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and assist in spill clean-up when required.
- Handle waste disposal processes, including proper container use and waste log documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing proper PPE and following safety procedures.
- Attend required health, safety, and environmental training sessions.
- Participate in safety initiatives and complete related administrative tasks (forms, checklists, logs).
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a production setting.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and directions.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organized with high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Math skills to convert units (lbs., grams, kilos, ounces, liters, etc.).
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and demands.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Desired Skills
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or Inventory Management Systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- 1 year of experience in a cleanroom production setting.
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking, sitting, and use of hands to handle tools or controls.
- Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and balancing.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. daily.
- Capability to maneuver 30 to 55-gallon drums (up to 450 lbs.) using proper equipment or techniques.
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and chemicals.
- Exposure to varying temperatures.
Pay
$22.00 hourly, based on experience and qualifications, plus shift differential.
Schedule
Shift B: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM, Tuesday – Friday.
