Production Operator BGA Rework - Day Shift

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Perform BGA and Non-BGA component Rework: Demonstrate detailed practical knowledge of all the steps and aspects of BGA rework station operation
• Perform BGA localized paste printing and through-hole rework
• Using Automated BGA soldering equipment
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge - and complete all the steps - of both leaded/Pb-Free and clean/no-clean process
• Identify component polarity on the board and follow work instructions
• Perform rework equipment operation, using soldering iron and hot-air tools
• Achieve timely completion of rework according to set parameters and requirements
• Demonstrate detailed practical knowledge of all rework tools and utilize as appropriate
• Perform Touch-up rework tasks: Perform soldering and board rework for SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
• Read and follow BOM and rework instructions
• Install jumper wire per IPC
• Perform hand soldering on any type of board
• Demonstrate detailed practical knowledge of solder pot operation
• Repair damaged pad and trace
• Perform Gold finger re-plating/repair
• Perform ad-hoc complex PCBA rework not covered by standard basic instructions
• Other duties and responsibilities related to other production functions, as assigned

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Prior 4+ on the job years or more practical manufacturing experience
• User knowledge of ESD, Board handling, and Safety Practices including Personal Protective Equipment
• User knowledge of components and their polarity, including resistors and capacitors
• User knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Soldering Standards
• User Knowledge of latest revision-class 3 workmanship criteria is a plus

Salary Range

$25.00 - $30.00 / Hour
