Production Operator

Job ID: Land O’Lakes, Inc. – Intake Operator (2-2-3 rotation, nights)

Pay

• Base pay: $27.97 per hour
• Shift differential: +$1.50 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1,500 total
  • $250 after 30 days of employment
  • $500 after 6 months of employment
  • $750 after 12 months of employment

Schedule

• Shift: 4:45 PM to 5:15 AM
• Rotation: 2-2-3 (two days on, two days off, three days on)
• Weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed

About the role

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials and create final high-quality dairy products. You will operate machinery and equipment, package final product, and handle all phases of liquid shipping and receiving, including process operations and clean-in-place (CIP) procedures. This position is part of our Dairy Foods business, which produces dairy products rooted in real, simple goodness.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and promote safe practices for yourself and others
• Arrive on time, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes
• Multitask and keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all quality standards and standard operating procedures during production
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Collaborate with leads and management to complete daily work assignments

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• One year or more of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; consistently respectful

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of manufacturing work experience
• Experience operating machinery and/or forklifts

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods
• Work in areas where dust and chemicals may be present
