Production Operator

High Divide Minerals in Dillon, MT is seeking Flexible Mill Production Technicians to join our team.

About the role

The Production Technician #1 is responsible for the safe operation of semi-bulk units while ensuring product quality, compliance with procedures, and efficient material handling. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality control, and operational reliability while working rotating shifts with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate semi-bulk units in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job safety observations (JSOs).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Identify and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift (previous certification a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and frequently.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts: 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights.
• Willingness to work overtime as operational needs require.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and procedural compliance.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and bending as required.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts: 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights.
• Overtime as operational needs require.
