PRODUCTION OPERATOR

About the role

The Production Operator position involves rotating through various roles within the Crown Health Care Laundry plant, including Soil and Clean operations. Primary responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading linens for delivery to hospitals and medical facilities. Roles may vary based on production needs and employee skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and sort returned, soiled linen into appropriate classifications.
• Operate various production equipment to meet customer expectations.
• Rotate through different positions within the plant as needed.
• Secure and stack linens into carts for transport.
• Perform quality checks and adhere to safety standards.
• Handle emergencies by calling maintenance for equipment issues.
• Learn and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Education or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Willingness to move between all jobs via rotation.
