About the role
This position involves operating and controlling process equipment and systems in the production of pharmaceutical grade amino acids.
Responsibilities
- Operate and control process equipment and systems in the production of pharmaceutical grade amino acids.
- Learn and apply theory behind clean process.
- Efficiently and timely carry out assigned tasks in support of productivity for the team, department, and process.
- Assist team members when workload permits or when all assignments have been completed.
- Actively participate in daily housekeeping tasks by keeping work areas clean and organized, and completing assigned monthly housekeeping tasks.
- Retain information provided by trainer and apply learned knowledge to assigned tasks.
- Read, understand, and follow SOP’s and direct instruction from trainer, foreman, and associate manager.
- Practice open communication with team regarding any production issues or challenges beyond your trained skill level.
- Learn and execute required documentation according to cGMP and company polices.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Technical School training or additional Bio-works is preferred.
- Chemical processing experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Able to read and accurately interrupt instructions from operational manuals.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to drive results.
- Able to work with a team and individually.
- Able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to operate and effectively use equipment such as forklift.
Qualifications
- Obtain and maintain an understanding of what each part of the clean process is and does while learning the flow of the clean process.
Skills
