About the Role

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:10pm-10:30pm with overtime and weekends based on business needs.
Pay: $19.78/hr with an additional $1.00 shift premium

Essential Responsibilities

  • Employee attendance is subject to monitoring during the initial two-week and 30-day, 60-day periods and will be evaluated at both the 30-day and 90-day reviews to assess consistency and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain punctuality and exemplify the company’s core values through daily actions and interactions in the workplace

Hot Stamp Operator

  • Absorb and operate equipment to harden, anneal and heat-treat metal parts.
  • Start the equipment, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
  • Perform first piece inspection and identify in Plex conformance/non-conformance.
  • Determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances, furnace temperatures and heat cycle requirements.
  • Inspect completed parts to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.
  • Unload/stock parts into containers.
  • Clean and lubricate machines.
  • Correctly identify and handle non-conforming products.
  • Correctly handle and identify scrap using Plex during and after production shift.
  • Correctly handle and identify finished products using Plex.

Welding Operator

  • Feed work piece into welding machine to join or bond components.
  • Observe and listen to welding machine and its gauges to ensure welding process meets specifications.
  • Turn and press controls, such as cranks, knobs, and buttons to adjust and activate welding process.
  • Lay out, fits, or tack work pieces together, using hand tools.
  • Stop and open holding device on welding machine, using hand tools.
  • Position and adjust fixtures, attachments, or work pieces on machine, using hand tools.
  • Correctly handle scrap during and after production.

Laser Operator

  • Under supervision you must be able to run a Laser cell per required job target.
  • A Laser Entry Level to Level One operator will be able to execute all production and quality procedures.
  • Must be able to inspect part in Gauge, understand the customer packing requirements.
  • You must be able to fill out tags properly.
  • A Laser operator should always maintain a clean working environment. 5S the cell.
  • There should not be hand prints on guarding, all garbage must be picked up.
  • True Control 1000 screen will be clean.
  • Robot panels should not have any debris on top of cabinet.
  • Safety First: When an operator sees a potential hazard he needs to bring these items to the production supervisor. Lockout/Tagout.
  • Laser Operators must be able to run target numbers with minimum issues.
