Production - Mechanic/Line Setter Technician (Entry-level)

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust filling, labeling, and packing equipment according to product specifications.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repairs during production runs.
• Aid with line changeovers, minimizing downtime and ensuring accurate configuration.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment operates smoothly and safely.
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workstations.
• Document setup parameters and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a production or mechanical role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow setup instructions, diagrams, or SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to urgent issues.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10-40 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

The approximate pay range for this position is $17 - $20 per hour. This is a full-time position. 5 days per week (M-F) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Totowa, NJ.
