Precision Machining Technician (PMT) operating select manufacturing and processing equipment in highly controlled clean-line and clean-room environments. Work involves electro-polishing chemicals, high-purity instruments, sensitive testing devices, assembly tools, and packaging equipment.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7am–5pm Mon–Thurs
- Second Shift: 3pm–11pm Sun–Thurs
- Overnight Shift: 10:45pm–6:45am Sun–Thurs
Responsibilities
- Load and unload various cleaning equipment, perform miscellaneous assembly, inspect, alcohol-wipe, swab, carry plates, nitrogen-dry parts, and conduct leak, function, and flow testing.
- Operate microscopes, profilometers, lapping machines, air and electric drivers, impulse wire bag sealers, and leak/flow/function testing equipment.
- Operate ultrasonic wash, electro-polish, and insert-installation stations.
- Monitor supplies and use material-replenishment reordering system.
- Perform assigned preventative-maintenance tasks.
- Cross-train and assist other production areas as production schedule dictates.
- Work occasionally in clean-room, clean-line, or assembly areas as workflow requires.
- Follow all Ichor Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing duties.
- Use required PPE: coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc.
Requirements
- Good communication skills, flexibility, and cooperation.
- High level of production skills and clean-room experience.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and understanding of controlled-process regulations.
- Computer applications (e.g., MS Office).

Pay
For candidates based in Minnesota: $16.39 – $25.43 hourly (non-exempt), plus shift differential. Individual pay determined by role, level, location, knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
