About the role

Oshkosh Delivery is dedicated to redefining the future of last-mile and commercial delivery. We design and manufacture advanced delivery vehicles that are durable, efficient, and sustainable. Our Production Manager, Paint oversees production to satisfy contractual commitments and maximize profits.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees plant production by observing activity and setting standards to ensure production and quality needs are met.
  • Conducts meetings and discussions pertaining to continuous improvement in responsible areas.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes productivity and throughput through conflict resolution.
  • Creates and maintains budgets, approves expenditures, and manages operations keeping within budgets.
  • Fosters employee involvement process by creating and maintaining an environment that promotes productivity and throughput to include conflict resolution.
  • Affirms that the production schedules are met as determined by the master schedule.
  • Affirms that all units manufactured meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Affords assistance in the development and coordination of new methods and procedures to reduce manufacturing costs.

Requirements

  • Six plus years of related work experience.
  • Standout qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Five plus years of manufacturing experience.
  • Three plus years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • One to two years of paint manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with production scheduling.
  • Experience implementing and driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience at the management level.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience at the management level.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $92,600.00 - $154,400.00 per year. The actual salary will depend on various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education, and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.

Schedule

Plant 1st shift hours: 6am - 2:30pm EST.
