Production Manager - Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Managing daily production activities across SMT, through-hole, and final assembly processes.
• Leading and mentoring production managers, leads, and operators to foster ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Driving key performance outcomes aligned with SQDC metrics, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Developing training plans to attract, onboard, and upskill frontline staff, promoting career growth.
• Collaborating with planning and procurement to ensure schedules meet delivery demands, adjusting capacity as needed.
• Collaborating with Quality teams to maintain IPC, ISO, and customer standards.
• Implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Overseeing equipment maintenance and upgrades, ensuring proper calibration and operation.
• Supporting customer audits and technical discussions as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electronics or PCBA manufacturing, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
• Knowledge of SMT, reflow, wave soldering, AOI/X-ray inspection, and box build processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools.

Skills

• Preferred experience in contract manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• IPC-A-610 knowledge.
• ISO-9001 knowledge.
