Production Manager, Creative

The Production Manager is a key member of Bandit's Creative team, responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of photo, video, content, and brand productions. You'll work closely with the Creative team, and cross-functional partners to turn creative concepts into well-organized, well-executed productions. You'll own the details—from crew and equipment to locations, schedules, travel, catering, call sheets, and on-set logistics—so the creative team can stay focused on the work. Requirements Manage the day-to-day logistics of creative productions across campaigns, product launches, editorial, social content, e-commerce, events, and other brand initiativesSupport the Senior Producer in developing production plans, schedules, budgets, and production approachesIndependently manage smaller-scale shoots and productions from pre-production through wrap and final deliveryCoordinate photographers, directors, stylists, hair and makeup, talent, assistants, crew, vendors, locations, equipment, catering, transportation, and other production needsSource and coordinate freelancers and production partners, maintaining strong relationships with Bandit's creative networkBuild and distribute call sheets, production schedules, crew lists, contact sheets, and other production documentsCoordinate shoot logistics including location scouting, permits, equipment rentals, travel, accommodations, catering, transportation, and on-site needsSupport casting and talent logistics, including schedules, releases, fittings, travel, and day-of coordinationTrack production budgets, estimates, invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in partnership with the Senior Producer and relevant internal teamsBe a key point of contact for vendors and crew before and during productionsAttend and help manage shoots on set, troubleshooting issues and keeping production movingAnticipate production needs and potential issues before they become problemsCoordinate post-production logistics, including file delivery, selects, retouching, editing, color, and final asset delivery as neededMaintain organized production files, contacts, vendor information, releases, and other documentationHelp develop and improve production processes, templates, and systems as Bandit's creative operation scalesSupport multiple productions and creative projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in creative production, photo/video production, production coordination, or a related fieldExperience producing photo and/or video shoots, ideally within fashion, apparel, sport, lifestyle, editorial, or consumer brandsStrong understanding of the production process from pre-production through shoot day and post-productionExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong attention to detail and an ability to keep track of many moving pieces at onceResourceful problem solver who stays calm and solutions-oriented when things inevitably changeStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with creative teams, vendors, talent, and external partnersComfortable managing production budgets, estimates, invoices, and vendor relationshipsExisting relationships with photographers, crew, freelancers, rental houses, locations, and other production resources in New York and beyondWillingness to work flexible hours and travel as production schedules requireProficiency with production and project management tools and strong comfort with Google Workspace and spreadsheetsGenuine interest in running, sport, fashion, photography, culture, and the world Bandit is building Benefits Competitive salary + equity compensation401k matchTop tier medical insurance/benefitsRocket-ship level momentum with a career-defining opportunity at-hand At Bandit, we're building an incredible culture rooted in our three core values—Trust, Empathy, & Excellence.
