Production Manager - Battery Modules

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan short and long-term objectives for the Production department division
• Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments
• Cook up continuous improvement teams to achieve division goals in productivity improvements, quality improvements, and safety goals
• Cook up corrective action planning to ensure effective root cause analysis and proper implementation of improvement methods
• Teach continuous improvement philosophy through monthly training
• Coach Team Members to resolve conflicts
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental goals
• Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
• Oversee and provide counseling on proper progressive discipline per company policies
• Initiate reporting systems to monitor department performance
• Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of supervisory personnel
• Maintain personnel headcount according to the business plan
• Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnel
• Follow and promote safety in the workplace, including attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessary
• Avoid overtime of all assigned Team Members
• Ensure proper management of key reports KPI, general reporting, etc. are completed on time and accurate
• Manage and achieve standard procedures for line operations, efficiencies, and shipping/warehouse management accordingly
• Able to learn and utilize key software and systems, such as MES, SAP, payroll, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related field + 5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong Leadership skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, Good written and verbal communication skills, Ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
