Production Manager

About the role

Responsible for the overall operation of the division, including managing staff, inventory control, production, warehouse, delivery, and administrative support functions. Enhances customer relations, develops the annual budget, coordinates sales and purchasing efforts, participates in product development, and ensures division goals and objectives are met. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Oversees division operations, including inventory control, production, purchasing, warehousing, delivery, and administrative support functions.
• Ensures achievement of established divisional goals and objectives.
• Enhances customer relations through quality service, including maintaining adequate inventory, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, and promptly addressing problems and concerns.
• Coordinates sales efforts with foodservice sales managers and personnel, including meeting customers, providing appropriate service levels, and participating in sales meetings and food shows.
• Develops the division’s annual budget, including projected expenses and gross profit projections.
• Oversees safety and quality control programs to meet established customer requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in production operations, inventory control processes, or a related area.
• Team lead or supervisory experience.

Pay

$77,900 – $111,300 per year.
