Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational goals.
• Develop workforce capabilities through training, accountability, and performance management.
• Support production planning and scheduling efforts to ensure customer demands are met.
• Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing supervisors and hourly workforces in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, labor management, and operational metrics.
• Proven track record of driving improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lear Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• PREFERRED: Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, leading cross-functional teams and plant-wide improvement initiatives, and employee development and succession planning.
