Production Manager

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (“DGOC”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Diversified Energy Company PLC, a US-based company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and London Stock Exchange (LSE) under the ticker symbol “DEC”. DGOC is an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States. Field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, with expansion into Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

About the role

The Production Manager supervises daily production activities through Foremen and their crews, ensuring safe, effective, and economic installation, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas production operations across an assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the production team and other departments to ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.
• Supervise company production foremen across the assigned region.
• Oversee the operation of the local field office, including invoice flow.
• Ensure proper testing and allocation of production at multi-well Central Tank Batteries.
• Coordinate with well servicing, completion, engineering, drilling, materials, Frac, and HSE groups as necessary.
• Maximize production at minimum cost.
• Recommend and implement maintenance and cost-reduction programs.
• Recommend changes in production operations and confer with supervisors and engineering on implementation.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with surface owners and community leaders.
• Collaborate with facility engineers on new facility designs, bringing operational experience to planning meetings.
• Ensure the people and processes required to maximize base production are in place and functioning.
• Ensure quality reporting of base production analysis.
• Accountable for performance results of the assigned area, including base production and EHS.
• Provide learnings and design/SOP feedback to planning, development, well engineering, facilities, and Base Surface groups.
• Develop and manage area forecasts and budgets.
• Provide performance management and continuous skill development opportunities for direct reports.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred, or equivalent on-the-job experience in place of education.
• At least 15 years of progressive oil and gas production, operations, and completions experience in increasingly responsible asset and field operations management positions, with at least 5 years in a large asset management capacity.
• Fully competent in all conventional and horizontal oil and gas exploration and production.
• Ability to work consultatively with all levels of internal/external company and regulatory contacts.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to drilling, site operations, safety, environmental matters, and energy/oil and gas codes and standards.
• Strong familiarity with rules and regulations of the Oil and Gas Commission, right of way, leases, division orders, pooling, unitization, and spacing.
• Exemplary interpersonal, written communication, organization, consultative, recordkeeping, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong capability for relationship building, including interaction with land, drilling, and production staff, State and Federal agencies, mineral owners, and landowners.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to move or traverse job sites, including remaining stationary for extended periods, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and occasionally ascending/descending ladders or uneven terrain.
• Ability to detect, perceive, and assess driving operations effectively (with or without corrective lenses).
• Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
• Repetitive movement of feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back; constant use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights.
• Lift or carry 116 lbs. or more (classified as "heavy" work, over 50 pounds).
• Frequently push and pull with a maximum force of 150 ft./lbs.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions and varying environmental conditions, including well site environments.

Driver Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Position involves operating a company vehicle for work-related travel or receiving a stipend for using a personal vehicle; adherence to traffic laws and company vehicle policies is required.
• Must be eligible for coverage under the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
