Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager position at DH Pace Company, Inc. is based in Olathe, KS. This role is part of a dynamic team that supports the company's mission to distribute, install, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day directing and monitoring all production operations, including supervision of staff, maintaining and executing production schedule, equipment and inventory maintenance, resolution of problems, work priorities, and quote reviews
• Be highly organized and have the knowledge to create production schedules, oversee production processes and ensure the best quality product is produced in the department while maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Manage production cost and provide yearly update to cost matrixes
• Provide timely and accurate cost estimates for sales team
• Conduct scheduled inventories
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred and a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered
• Must be an excellent communicator who is highly organized and possesses a good mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
• Comprehensive working knowledge of industrial wood working machines including table saw, mitre saw, routers, and nailer
• Forklift/reach truck experience
