Kitchen Manager – Food Manufacturing Supreme Cuisine LLC | Montgomery City, MO Lead the Team. Drive Production. Make an Impact. Supreme Cuisine is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our industrial food manufacturing operations. This is not a restaurant management position. About Supreme Cuisine Located in Montgomery City, Missouri, Supreme Cuisine is a growing food manufacturer producing premium sauces, broths, stocks, beef tallow, soups, and custom food products for retail, foodservice, and private-label customers across the country. What You'll Do As Kitchen Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all daily kitchen production activities while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and employee development. Responsibilities Lead daily industrial food production operations.Manage, coach, train, and develop production employees.Execute daily production schedules and adjust labor to meet production demands.Oversee batch cooking, mixing, heating, ingredient preparation, kettles, tanks, transfers, and product changeovers.Ensure recipes, formulations, batch records, and SOPs are followed precisely.Monitor cooking temperatures, processing times, product yields, downtime, and waste.Drive labor productivity and maximize equipment utilization.Troubleshoot production issues and implement immediate corrective actions.Maintain accurate production records and manufacturing documentation.Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation, allergen controls, and traceability programs.Support USDA, FDA, SQF, HACCP, SOP, and SSOP compliance.Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Human Resources, and Plant Leadership.Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recognition.Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost control. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or industrial food production.Experience supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of food processing equipment, batch manufacturing, and production scheduling.Understanding of USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, and food safety requirements.Ability to read and follow production schedules, formulas, recipes, and batch sheets.Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and fast-paced manufacturing environments.Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
