About the role
Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of structural wind towers in North America, focusing on excellence and premier value for customers. As the Production Manager, you will support a positive safety culture by planning and directing production activities and staff, leading the team in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production.

Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with safety, health, and environmental legal and company standards, emphasizing safety as a top priority.
- Monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards by developing and reviewing reports and metrics.
- Coordinates plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develops systems and sets performance targets and measures to assess plant and direct reports' performance; reviews progress to ensure achievement of targets.
- Trains, instructs, and directs work activities of employees; identifies succession role requirements and high-potential talent, and actively trains key talent.
- Monitors schedules to accomplish manufacturing goals.
- Demonstrates and models the highest ethical standards, treating all employees and coworkers with dignity and respect while fostering a positive and engaging culture.
- Exercises independent judgment and fills in as needed to meet production goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Activates the potential of team members, cares for customers, optimizes operations, and integrates sustainability into daily practices and long-term strategy.
- Promotes a results-driven culture aligned with long-term value creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role.
- 3 years of knowledge in welding, assembly, or paint preferred.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance, engineering, and budgeting/expense management strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas, and plant grounds.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime including weekends as required.
- Safety-sensitive role; may require work/maintenance coverage beyond normal hours, shifts, and on weekends/holidays.
- Plant operates 3 shifts and frequent weekend shifts.
- Exposure to high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
- Infrequent travel may be required, including operation of a company vehicle.
