Production Maintenance Manager

About the role

As the maintenance manager, you will oversee all installation, repair, and maintenance operations for our company’s facilities. You will supervise and lead all maintenance processes, ensuring machinery is maintained to proper working standards and department workers adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery, plan repair activities, and develop maintenance procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems
• Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
• Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
• Oversee equipment inventory and place orders for new supplies as needed
• Manage the company’s Preventive Maintenance (PM) program
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Create a culture of safety by educating employees on safety standards and equipment operation
• Establish, implement, train, and monitor maintenance guidelines for maintenance teams
• Provide input into the preparation of the annual maintenance budget and prepare budget requests
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategies for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and effectiveness

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance manager
• Strong knowledge of PLC and servo systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with liquid filling equipment
• Experience in the personal care industry
• Experience in implementing maintenance best practices and processes
