Responsibilities

  • Work with raw material to complete a mix formula
  • Mix ingredients to complete the batch
  • Packaging the material or palletizing for shipping
  • Achieve high-performance standards in housekeeping
  • Operate auxiliary equipment as needed
  • Operate in a safe manner according to manual, training, and batch card instructions
  • Maintain the workstation and keep it clean and organized
  • Communicate to lead or supervisor any quality, safety, scheduling, and food safety issues
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Adhere to the Food Defense and Security functions within the facility
  • Perform all the above tasks in a safe manner by following the company's GMPs, SOPs, and safety regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Write routine reports
  • Communicate effectively with fellow team members
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Work well with others or independently
  • Forklift certified (helpful)
  • Computer skills helpful

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 1:42 pm-10:12 pm

Weekends are mandatory based on needs. All overtime is scheduled per the UFCW Contract
